This will be for O magazine. Or not. It's just something to start.

The article will be about how Jenny McCarthy was the cheerleader to get people with young autistic children to bond together in solidarity as they spend time, money and thought working toward The Cure. In the meantime, their kids are growing up.

When their kids grow up and aren't cured, the parents lose those bonds with other cure parents because they have their hands full trying to figure out what to do now with their adult children,

Those well funded cure organizations owe it to the parents to keep them focused half on the cure research and half on real things like creating parent and care giver designed and owned group homes. Also creating bonds that don't go away when the kids grow up and they're still autistic.

So I'll get back to this and try to form it into an article that doesn't betray how pissed off, judgemental and frustrated I feel about the Jenny McCarthy revivals.
